MBU Freedom Run for Ronald 5k
Rustic Grain is proud to be a sponsor of Missouri Baptist University Freedom Run for Ronald. The 5k will be held on November 9, 2013. The race is being held to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. The race begins at 8 a.m. The run/walk will begin at Missouri Baptist University’s West Saint Louis County campus, located a quarter mile west of the intersection of highways 270 and 40. The run/walk will take participants on a scenic stroll through West County, before ending in front of the new Ronald McDonald House on the campus of Mercy Hospital.
The cost for participants registering after Oct. 29 and on race day is $25. The cost for MBU students is $8. All pre-registered participants will receive a Rustic Grain T-shirt. The theme of the day is red, white and blue in celebration of Veteran’s Day.
Rustic Grain will be set-up near the finish line reclining in some of our adirondack chairs cheering on the runners and handing out water as they finish.
